Stegosaurus Dinosaur Skeleton

Starting at: $4.50

The outline of this late Jurassic dinosaur is hard to miss. The name Stegosaurus, which means “roof” or “covered lizard,” refers to those fancy plates on it’s back which have given scientists so many decades of debates. Stegosaurus was first uncovered near Morrison, Wyoming, but paleontologists also find it and its relatives in Europe and China as well.
